A lawyer passes the bar, a clerk is not a lawyer

Why is it that people just do not own who they are? You can work on yourself and improve yourself, it does not make you any less. But pretending to be something you are not does make you less. Match.com man told me he was a lawyer. He told me the law firm. So of course I check LinkedIn, then I called the firm. So it turns out he was a clerk. Why do people lie? Just be honest, anything started with a lie? He benched me for a while – and by a while I mean 8 months. Then called out of the blue. LOSER. Why are these men like this? The only answer I have is that they must have encountered a lot of women who put up with it. I am worth more than that crap.
